The Funky Uncle Records concept was created in 1982 as a doodle by founder Terence Rosemore during his senior year in high school. He later created the comedic character Funky Uncle Lester in 1993. Rosemore is an actor and filmmaker known for his roles in Outer Banks, Atlanta, True Detective and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2.
